ACCA Kazakhstan signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Financial Academy of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Finance Academy of the Ministry of Finance at recent event in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The development will see ACCA and the Finance Academy share their expertise, with the aim of developing financial talent in the Republic as one of the largest economies in Central Asia. 

Lucia Real-Martin, director of emerging markets at ACCA, says of the MoU: ‘We are delighted to be entering into this agreement with the Ministry of Finance. This is an excellent way for us to develop the accountants needed to grow and sustain the economy. Agreements such as these are an important way to grow the profession, invest in financial skills and recognise ability.’

Korzhova Natalya Artemovna, President of the Academy adds: ‘This MOU marks the beginning of ACCA and the Ministry of Finance working closer together to develop and sustain great finance talent here in government. Financial acumen is very important for the Ministry, helping it support economic development. We look forward to our future work with ACCA, for the benefit of our employees and ACCA members.
