You can choose whether your apprenticeship scheme provides training through a local provider on a day-release basis, and if it includes self-study and online sessions.
We work with a number of approved training providers to offer the Level 4 higher apprenticeship.
A full list of providers is available on the Welsh Government's apprenticeship training providers webpage for more information.
During the apprenticeship, which must last for a minimum of 12 months, apprentices will take just three exams, as well as their final assessment, but at a time when you and they agree is convenient and appropriate.
This allows you to ensure that exams and any study leave are compatible with the demands of your business, and reduces the overall amount of time they are away from their day-to-day roles.
