Tom Guthrie FCCA
I am a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner who helps businesses and individuals who unfortunately find themselves in financial difficulties. I joined the local ACCA panel 2 years ago, as I simply didn’t appreciate the benefits of being an ACCA member. Instead of simply wondering, I got involved and I am pleased I did.
I now have a better understanding of the support ACCA can provide to me, whilst having an input on the strategic direction going forward. It has also given me an opportunity to network with other professionals and businesses, which is certainly helping me in my career. #getinvolved.

Alex Black ACCA
I work in (the best) accountancy practice, Ad Valorem based in Newport Pagnell. Ad Valorem has given me an incredible amount of support and opportunity throughout my career and participating in the ACCA panel allows me to give back to the accountancy community. As well as this, participating in the panel provides opportunity to contribute the future of our association and allows me to meet and network with like-minded forward-thinking members.

Alex Falcon-Huerta FCCA
I got involved in the local network to learn more about what ACCA had to offer outside of the exams and qualification. I wanted to be part of the community and to bring my ideas to the table about future developments. Being on the local panel has also encouraged me to get more involved and grow my support network around me. I enjoy giving my time and being an ambassador for ACCA. Especially when you see the changes you were part of take shape.
Vijay Patel ACCA
I currently work in the Pharmaceutical sector. As an ACCA member, I wanted to try and engage with other members and students, and give back in whatever way I could - becoming a panel member allowed me to do this. In this role, I consider myself fortunate enough to have networked not only with members from across my region, but also the world.
Kate Payne FCCA
I work in the management consulting sector. I got involved with the network panel in 2019 because I was inspired by other panel members I met at ACCA events, in particular 2018 International Women's Day and BLN Northampton Saints events. Being a panel member gives me the opportunity to gain access to and attend some amazing events as an ACCA advocate that I would not otherwise have been able to do.
Akshay Shah FCCA
Akshay Shah FCCA sole practitioner based in Milton Keynes, I operate a small boutique practice called ACE Accounts and Tax Ltd concentrating on small and medium sized firm. We as a firm specialise in the IT, Restaurants, Logistic and Medical and IT professional sectors. Getting involved with my panel would have allowed to me explore on how my professional body functions and networking with likeminded accountants enhancing my knowledge and lead my staff who most of them are ACCA qualified within our practice.
