I work for the NHS and I am currently Head of Private Patient Finance at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. To serve on the panel has been a privilege to represent, support and network with our members. The role has allowed me to promote ACCA and also influence the profession so that we remain valued across industry. Since joining the panel,  I have enjoyed bringing together and sourcing specialist speakers for events whilst taking into account member feedback. These have included talks and discussions arranged from a variety of key industries on current themes and new developments.

I work at Nomura as a Vice President in the EMEA Financial Crime Advisory Team. Before Nomura, I worked at Exiger’s London office where I supported the Court appointed Corporate Compliance Monitor overseeing a global financial institution’s implementation of the US Department of Justice deferred prosecution agreement.  I am passionate about members being ready to embrace technological changes such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics and how they will impact the future of the Accounting profession through organised discussion and dialogue, training and creating necessary awareness for members.

I have decided to be involved in the network panel in order to meet other ACCA members from other sectors and to share my ideas for the benefit of the ACCA. I work  in public practice and I have seen my election as an opportunity to develop my myself both personally and professionally and to enhance my networking. As I always support trainees with their career path I felt I could the same with the promotion of the ACCA as a body in a wide range of sectors.
