Jessica McKinlay ACCA
I work for ACC Liverpool Group, as Assistant Director of Finance. The group operates the Liverpool event campus, which most notably includes the M&S Bank Arena. I’m excited to be leading a finance team that’s contributing to the growth and sustainability of one of the City’s best assets. Prior to this I was a finance business partner at Merseyrail, again shaping the use of another of the City’s best assets, and before that I worked in various roles in local NHS organisations; providing management accounts support to front line managers that delivered invaluable healthcare to the region. I got involved with the panel to strengthen my voice as an accountant and help to shape development opportunities for accountants in a city that I’m proud to call home and really advocate for the profession across the Liverpool patch.
Stephanie Moonan ACCA
I have worked in the NHS since 2001 and my current role is a Directorate Accountant for Royal Liverpool University Hospital Trust. Having previously been involved with the FSD Student Forum and Conference I felt that joining the ACCA panel was a natural progression. As a relatively newly qualified member I was confident I could bring something different to the panel and use my experience gained within the NHS and the Student Panel to help focus and streamline the events and webinars to all levels of ACCA membership.
Saima Valli ACCA
I work in Audit and Assurance within the public sector team at an Accounting Practice. I got involved with ACCA around 3 years ago as having through the ACCA qualification programme myself and advancing my career, I wanted to help others through their studies and be the voice for other members through the Liverpool Network Panel, where our thoughts and ideas are taking into consideration when arranging CPD events for the area.
Nikki Young FCCA
I currently work in the Financial Services sector and have done since 2001. Prior to that I worked in practice and for a company running a number of nursing homes. I qualified as an ACCA member in 1995. I joined the panel in order to share experience with other ACCAs and potential ACCAs. Being a panel member provides an insight into how other ACCAs and the ACCA itself are dealing with matters that affect us as professionals.
