Informed by the experiences of seasoned accounting practitioners, the resources include a written guide, Look before you leap, plus a set of handy checklists. Both resources cover practical considerations such as work-life balance, business structures, clients and marketing, people and skills, financial administration, compliance, and technology.
The guide and checklists offer food for thought for accountants – thinking of setting up your own practice from scratch, or stepping into an existing partnership, or buying a parcel of fees.
These resources are clear and simple to use, highlighting the issues to be aware of, the questions to ask yourself, and pointing you in the direction of further detail if you’d like to know more.
