How to apply for the BSc Professional Accountancy

[00:05] Welcome to this video on completing the University of London BSc Professional Accountancy application form.
[00:12] Before you get started, you should confirm your eligibility using the eligibility checker on accaglobal.com
[00:19] Once you've confirmed you meet the requirements, applying couldn't be easier.
[00:24] The programme runs twice yearly in March and September, with the application window open for around 8 weeks before each.
[00:32] If the university confirms your eligibility, you will then have 2 weeks to fully register for the programme.
[00:38] To make your application, available only when the application window is open, navigate to the application form linked from the BSc pages of the ACCA website.
[00:51] Depending on whether you're known to the University of London or not, you'll need to create an account or login. The form will take around 15 minutes to complete, and you'll require your ACCA ID number, so it's worth having this ready. The university will contact ACCA to confirm your qualifications once you have submitted your application.
[01:16] If you have previously started or submitted an application, please enter your email address and password to log in. Otherwise select create account.
[01:23] Using the same email registered with ACCA, enter your personal details and create a password for your account.
[01:31] Select proceed. You'll now be automatically logged into your account. Along the top of the screen, you'll see the different sections to complete the form.
[01:41] There's a help option here on the top right throughout. You'll also see an i for information option as you progress, should you need further information. Enter your ACCA membership status, and then your ACCA ID number.
[01:55] You'll see a save application option here, should you need to save and return at a later date.
[02:01] Select next to move on. You'll see some of your personal details have auto-populated from previous steps, you should now enter any other relevant details.
[02:14] Select next to move on. Enter your country of residence and all other details within this section.
[02:26] Remember you can use the i option for further information.
[02:31] Select next to move on.
[02:35] The access arrangements section is where you should provide information on any access arrangements should you require them.
[02:41] By answering yes to this question, you will be provided with further options. Please note, this is separate from arrangements with and may differ, from arrangements provided by ACCA.
[02:53] Complete the relevant options and any declarations, then select next to move on when you're ready.
[03:00] The final section is the declaration. Select where you heard about the University of London.
[03:07] Then confirm by ticking the box that you have read the declaration and agree to the conditions of the application.
[03:13] You can use the back option here should you wish to review any of your answers. Once you are happy, select Submit application to finalise. You will then see confirmation that your application has been submitted.
[03:26] A confirmation email will also be sent. A further email will be sent when your application is with the admissions team.
[03:34] It can sometimes take up to 3 weeks to process an application, at which point you'll receive a decision letter from the university advising whether you are eligible, not eligible or not eligible yet, and relevant next steps.
