ACCA is the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. We're the world's most forward thinking professional accountancy body. Since we were founded in 1904, we've been proud to lead the profession and thanks to us, hundreds of thousands of people have rewarding careers in accountancy. We have the vision to see what the world will need from professional accountants tomorrow.

This means that our people enjoy a working environment that is dynamic, human and connected, and have a strong focus on creating value for our students and members.

Our culture

So what makes our culture special? It's the quality of the students and members we attract, the integrity of the qualifications we offer, the reach of the employer networks that we have. But above all, it's our people who create our unique culture. You can see from our timeline how we've innovated and changed over the years, but we always stay true to our values, and that makes us a great place to work.

Working here

We support 188,000 members and 480,000 students throughout their careers. Our network of 100 offices and centres around the world means that exams and services are delivered locally to our customers - wherever they're based.

Working with us means being part of a unique global organisation. Our work is driven by the needs of the students and members that we serve, so we anticipate change and adapt as they do. This means that everyone here feels a responsibility to ACCA and has the drive to constantly improve.

All of this makes for a challenging, changeable internal environment. We're proud of achieving this while keeping a human approach through our social responsibility. We genuinely care for each other and the stakeholders we serve.

What happens when you apply

We have a fair and open recruiting process, which involves checking references and vetting candidates. Here's what you can expect:

1. Shortlist for interview

We review all the applications we receive. If you're shortlisted for interview, we’ll let you know. We'll also let you know if you're not successful for a particular application.

2. Arranging interview times

If you get to this stage, we'll arrange a time with you and give you all the information you may need to prepare.

3. The interview

On the day of the interview, you'll meet your potential line manager. They'll ask you about your goals, your interests and your experience. They'll also be interested in whether you'll be a good fit for ACCA. And, of course, you'll have every opportunity to ask us questions too.

4. The offer

If your interview is successful, we'll phone you to make the offer personally. After that, we use our online system to send your contract and other documents to you.

5. Vetting and referencing

If you accept the offer, our referencing partner will email you.

6. Before you start

Your line manager will talk to you before you start work officially. This gives you a chance to discuss and prepare for your first day.

Then we welcome you to your first day at ACCA.
