Framework recognition in England and Northern Ireland

In England and Northern Ireland, our Foundation-Level qualifications are recognised on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and are regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation. If you are, or have been resident in England or Northern Ireland, you will be issued with one award certificate which contains the RQF title upon completion of your Foundation-Level qualification.

Framework recognition in Scotland

In Scotland, our ACCA qualification and Foundation-Level qualifications are recognised on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) and are regulated by SQA Accreditation. If you are, or have been resident in Scotland, you will be issued with two award certificates, one for the ACCA title and one which contains the SCQF title upon completion of your qualification.

ACCA worked with the SSC responsible for the UK’s financial, finance and accountancy sectors, the Financial Skills Partnership (FSP), to have ACCA qualifications incorporated in the Accounting Modern Apprenticeship frameworks in Scotland.
