Exam dates and deadlines

Exams are currently held twice a year in June and December in all markets. In September 2015 ACCA will run an additional exam session in selected markets. Find out more about the September 2015 exam session

From 2016 ACCA exams will be held four times a year in all markets. In order to attempt exams, trainees must first register with ACCA. Trainees can register for ACCA at any time in the year, but the following deadlines apply to exam sessions:

Exam dates and deadlines

In order to attempt the June and December exams, ACCA registration is required. This can be done at any time in the year, but deadlines for exam entry do apply (as shown).

All exams currently offered in paper-based format will be available during the June and December exam sessions. Foundations in Accountancy exams are not available during the March and September sessions.

Remember, most of these exams are available as on-demand computer-based exams, which offer even greater flexibility and convenience.

Trainees can apply to do the Certificate in International Financial Reporting online at any time.

The course materials and assessment for the Certificate are available together for £235 or separately at a cost of £130 each.

ACCA members receive a discount automatically for the Certificate. The course materials and assessment are available together for £180 or separately at a cost of £95 each. The discount is applied automatically when members apply online with a valid credit or debit card and enter their ACCA membership number.

Competitive discounts are also available for bulk purchases made by employers and learning providers. Approved Employers and Approved Learning Partners are offered the best rates. These discounts are not automatically applied, but can be set up by speaking to our team via the email address ppqadmin@accaglobal.com

Your trainee’s initial registration fee includes one exam attempt. You or your trainee will need to pay for each re-sit.

December 2015 fees are £211

June 2016 fees are £217

Initial registration fee and resit is £211 for December 2015 and £217 for June 2016. The late entry fee for both sessions is £299. These fees are subject to change without written notice. 

Trainees can apply for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) at any time, but if they want to sit exams at a specific exam session, we will need to receive their online registration request and copies of all their supporting documents no later than 16 October for December 2015 exams and no later than 22 April for June 2016 exams.
