Alternative routes to ACCA Qualification

BSC degree in applied accounting

If you didn't study an undergraduate degree course at university, then you can still have the chance to gain a degree while studying to become a qualified accountant with ACCA.
We have a partnership with Oxford Brookes University. This means you can gain a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting while you work towards achieving your ACCA Qualification. And you won't have to double your workload. It is the perfect way to enhance your ACCA Qualification and broaden your skills set.

Fast-track futures

Combine working with a local employer, studying for a degree and professional qualification to become a complete finance professional.

Employers, who have typically looked to recruit talent at undergraduate level, are now also recruiting talent much earlier so that they can instil in them competencies needed to become future leaders.

Our innovative Fast Track Futures programme has been designed to bring together school-leavers and AAT members with employers looking for talented, work-ready employees like you.

Benefits include:

  • A university campus experience
  • A degree
  • An accelerated pathway to becoming a chartered certified accountant with ACCA
  • Earn while you learn!

Fast Track Futures programme

This accelerated pathway to ACCA membership brings together universities and local employers to offer students a programme of:

Year 1-3: block release university studying for accounting and finance relevant degree + work with an employer
Year 4-5: complete the ACCA Qualification and your practical experience requirements (PER)

Once you have completed your degree in accountancy and finance you can apply for exam exemptions from the ACCA Qualification, fast tracking you into becoming a chartered certified accountant. For more information on your exam exemptions get in touch with the course leader of the university you are applying for.

ACCA and the University of Gloucestershire are piloting the fast track futures programme starting in September 2014.
