Progress through your ACCA Qualification.

Successfully completing elements of the BSc Professional Accountancy programme will be recognised by ACCA and can support your progression towards ACCA membership.

Modules aligned to our Financial Management and Performance Management exams

As part of the BSc Professional Accountancy, you are required to complete the programme's Financial Management and Performance Management modules. These modules are aligned to ACCA's own Financial Management (FM) and Performance Management (PM) exams.

We would therefore recommend ACCA students who are considering taking the BSc programme not to complete ACCA's FM and PM exams in advance of, or whilst studying, for the BSc.

Module 1 - Financial Management

The Financial Management module's learning outcomes are aligned to ACCA’s FM exam. As a result, on successful completion of this module you will qualify and be awarded an exemption for the FM exam (should you not have already completed FM with ACCA).

Module 2 - Performance Management

The Performance Management module's learning outcomes are aligned to ACCA’s PM exam. As a result, on successful completion of this module you will qualify and be awarded an exemption for the PM exam (should you not have already completed PM with ACCA).

Progressing to Strategic Professional level

On completion of both the Financial Management and Performance Management modules, students previously at ACCA’s Applied Skills level can then progress on to the Strategic Professional level.

Exemptions achieved on successful completion of the BSc modules will be applied by ACCA, once these module results have been received from the University of London. Students are not required to submit any documentation and there are no exemption fees.

Students who have already completed ACCA's FM and/or PM exams will still be required to take, and pass, all of the modules and associated assessments on the BSc programme. For these students, exemptions for completing the modules on the BSc will not be awarded/re-awarded to your ACCA student record.
