In the context of increasing environmental regulation and the need for businesses to identify and manage a more diverse range of risks, our sustainability forum aims articulate and communicate the relevance of sustainability issues for the business community and the accountancy profession.

It monitors international trends and developments in sustainability and leads ACCA’s contribution to policy development in this area.

Mike Kelly
Head of Living Wage
Director Corporate Affairs KPMG LLP

Mike is KPMG’s first appointment as Head of Living Wage. His role is to coordinate and develop the Firm’s advocacy and influencing roles in support of the Firm’s ambitions around the voluntary adoption of the Living Wage.

Prior to this he was head of KPMG’s CSR programme in the UK and its programme across Europe, Middle East and Africa, comprising 75 active country practices. He chairs the Living Wage Advisory Council and is currently seconded part time to the Living Wage Foundation in addition to his KPMG responsibilities.

Additional activities include: Visiting Professor in Finance and Accounting, Strathclyde University, Glasgow; and Member of the Advisory Board, University of Nottingham International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility. He is the Chair of Trustees of The Passage; Business Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society and Chair of the ACCA Global Sustainability Forum.
