The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is recognised as a professional body by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in South Africa and the ACCA designations 'Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant' (FCCA) and 'Chartered Certified Accountant' (CCA) are registered professional designations. SAQA is responsible for the development and implementation of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
In accordance with NQF Act 67 of 2008, ACCA is obliged to submit data to SAQA relating to individuals holding either the FCCA or ACCA professional designation, to allow SAQA to report to the National Learners Records Database (NLRD).

ACCA processes information within the UK & EU but may also transfer data outside of the UK & EU as part of its operations and service delivery.
