It aims to identify and evaluate the various ways in which corporate reporting can add value to investors, businesses and the public. It also addresses the issues and challenges that surround the adoption of international financial reporting standards around the world.
Lorraine Holleway FCCA
Head of Accounting Policy, Netherlands Shell
Lorraine Holleway is a head of financial reporting at Qatar Shell in Qatar. Lorraine has worked for Shell for 14 years in various roles including group reporting and finance shared services. Prior to joining Shell, Lorraine worked in finance for various small manufacturing companies. Lorraine is from Scotland and married to David. In her spare time she enjoys running and golf (weather permitting).
Richard Martin
Head of corporate reporting, ACCA
Richard is responsible for monitoring developments in financial reporting, analysing the impact of changes and developing ACCA's policy on these issues. He speaks regularly on accounting standards at events around the world and in the UK.
He is a member of the Accounting Working Party of FEE (European Federation of Accountants), and of FEE’s Financial Reporting Policy Group.
Richard is also a member of the accounting and reporting group of experts (ISAR) at UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) and is particularly involved with developing their reporting guidelines for small and medium-sized businesses.
