VAT is moving online - effective 1 April 2010

From 1 April 2010, the following businesses will be required to file their VAT returns online AND pay their VAT electronically:

  • any business registering for VAT on or after 1 April 2010, and
  • any business with an annual turnover in excess of £100,000.
