Most students study for the ACCA Qualification with a learning provider. However, you can also work towards the qualification while at university, or receive free and affordable tuition directly from us for entry and first-level exams through our dedicated learning programme, ACCA-X.

For those considering joining us with no prior knowledge of finance or business, ACCA-X is a suite of online, on-demand tuition courses delivered by ACCA, designed to build strong foundational knowledge from the ground up. It offers free tuition for introductory courses, giving students the opportunity to experience studying with ACCA before registering, alongside affordable tuition to help registered students prepare for Foundations exams and the first level of the ACCA Qualification, Applied Knowledge.

As students with relevant prior qualifications typically enter at higher levels, ACCA-X is ideal for those who haven’t previously studied finance or business-related subjects and want a supported, ACCA-led pathway into the qualification.

Can I study self-study the ACCA Qualification?

We don’t recommend studying without tuition, as it requires a level of discipline and motivation that’s difficult to maintain alone, and pass rates are lower than for those studying with a learning provider. While official ACCA resources – such as the ACCA Study Hub, practice kits, past exam papers, and textbooks from approved content partners, BPP and Kaplan – are available, these are intended for study rather than tuition. For most students, using an ACCA Approved Learning Partner – in a style that suits your budget and commitments – offers a more supported and effective route to success.
