HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have updated and amended VAT Notice 700/41 'late registration penalty'.
The updated notice covers the new failure to notify for obligation to notify of liability. These penalties have been effective since 1 April 2010. Further details can be found in CC/FS 11.
