TX HUN withdrawal.

The Taxation Hungary (TX HUN) exam variant was withdrawn following the June 2026 session.

What this means for you

There was no regulatory requirement to complete the Hungary variant of the exam, so these changes do not impact recognition of the ACCA Qualification in any way.

If you were intending on taking the TX HUN exam, you have the flexibility of selecting any of our other TX variants. For example, you may wish to select the UK variant which many students in Hungary already take and is available in all of our four exam sessions.

If you have already passed the TX HUN exam, there is no change to the recognition of your pass.

What to do if you failed TX HUN in June 2026

We know that it’s disappointing to fail an exam. But it’s important to remember that failing an exam is a setback, and not a defeat. Here are some steps you can take to move forward with your resit for the TX HUN exam to set you up for exam success.
