We're delighted to hear from former students interested in returning to ACCA. If you've been removed from our student register, you can reapply through a process known as readmission.
If you are no longer a registered student, you must readmit before you can book or sit an exam.
Fees
When you readmit you'll need to pay a readmission fee together with any exemption fees that were outstanding when you left the register. You'll also need to pay an annual subscription.

Matters Triggering Bye-Law 8
If you have been removed from the ACCA register due to disciplinary actions, bankruptcy, or strict liability issues, readmission will require you to complete the relevant readmission form. Your application for readmission will be reviewed by the Admission & Licensing Committee.
Bye-Law 8 outlines specific situations that could lead to disciplinary proceedings against you. These include:
- Professional misconduct
- Misconduct during exams
- Criminal convictions or breaches of ACCA regulations, including actions that could harm your reputation, the reputation of ACCA, or the wider accountancy profession.
If any of these circumstances apply to you—for instance, if you have received a criminal conviction, caution, or been disciplined by another professional or regulatory body—you must disclose this information to ACCA before readmitting. Your case may be referred to the Admission & Licensing Committee for a review as part of the readmission process.
For more help on Bye-law 8, please access the readmission article in the help and support section of your myACCA portal.
How to pay
Payment can be made online during the readmission application process, please ensure the you have a valid credit or debit card available before you begin the application.
Exams
If you're planning to sit an exam as part of the ACCA qualification in the upcoming session, please be aware that entry deadlines apply. For full details, visit our Important Dates page.
For those studying the ACCA Foundation Level qualification, exams are available on demand—either at a test centre or from home. These must be booked at least 7 days in advance of your intended exam date.
To avoid any delays that could prevent you from entering an exam, it's essential to complete your re-registration before these deadlines.
Time limits for exams
There are certain time limits put in place for students to complete their ACCA Qualification exams. Learn about time limits for completing the ACCA Qualification, and how these apply to you.
