Pass rates announced for September 2026 ACCA exam sitting .

Pass rates have been announced by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) for students who sat their exams in September 2026

102,263 entered for the September sitting, which saw 114,239 exams completed.

Alan Hatfield, Executive Director – Content, Quality and Innovation, said: ‘I’m delighted to see another strong set of results from the third exam session of 2026. Many congratulations to the successful students from this session – your goal of ACCA membership gets closer with every exam pass.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting student success, ACCA delivered a comprehensive programme of learning support in the lead-up to the September exam session. Building on the existing learning support journey, there was an additional spotlight on helping students practice questions effectively. Students were provided with practical guidance to help them make the most of practise questions and refine their exam technique to help them approach their exams with confidence.

There was continued focus on encouraging students to make effective use of ACCA’s key learning resources, including the Study Hub and CBE Practice Platform. Targeted communications and learning support activities highlighted the value of these resources in preparing for exams, with additional emphasis on question practice driving increased engagement with the CBE Practice Platform.

ACCA also continued to work closely with Approved Learning Providers, sharing details of the student learning support programme in advance through the Educator Hub. This enabled tutors to plan how best to integrate the available resources and support activities into their teaching, helping students benefit from a coordinated approach to exam preparation.

In addition, we would like to congratulate 4,042 students who have now completed all their exams and will move to affiliate status. We look forward to welcoming them to membership when they will join over 266,100 talented and committed ACCA members around the world undertaking successful careers and making a positive impact.

Ahead of Global Ethics Day on 21 October, it’s timely to reflect that ethics is at the heart of the ACCA Qualification and will continue to be integrated throughout our redesigned qualification to equip future generations in a changed world. We are truly redefining accountancy and the changes we’re making will equip the next generation for this inspiring new future that will bring wider and more varied opportunities.

Our redesigned qualification will be delivered in less than a year and is highly anticipated. The ACCA Qualification has always been the gold standard, globally recognised and highly valued by employers.  It will remain as rigorous, relevant, and future-focused as ever, with an even sharper focus on employability.

ACCA has prepared a smooth transition for all students currently on, or about to start, their ACCA journey. Existing achievements will be recognised and there will be no disadvantage in terms of progression and the cost to complete the qualification.’
