International Trade Week

Do you have questions about starting or expanding the export of goods? Come along to the Department for International Trade’s Scottish exporting roadshow. Supported by Scottish Development International and Chambers of Commerce, these events are open to both accountants and businesses covering all aspects of trading overseas. The roadshows cover five cities over two weeks:

  • Edinburgh: 31 October
  • Glasgow: 3 November
  • Dundee: 8 November
  • Aberdeen: 9 November
  • Inverness: 10 November.

Scottish Budget

The Finance Secretary John Swinney has confirmed that the draft Scottish Budget 2023/24 will be unveiled on 15 December. The draft Budget will include planned rates for devolved taxation including business rates, income tax and Land and Buildings Transaction Tax.
