ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Hong Kong held its 76th AGM and Annual Dinner on 23 September, and announced its newly elected Chair, Vice Chair and Committee Members for the term 2026-27. Ambrose Ting was elected as the new Chair of ACCA Hong Kong. The Honourable Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the HKSAR Government and the past Chair of ACCA Hong Kong, was invited to officiate the Annual Dinner. Ambrose said ACCA will continue to serve as a bridge and create more opportunities through geographical, professional, and value-based connections.
Ambrose Ting is currently an Audit & Assurance Partner at Deloitte China. He has over 25 years of experience in auditing, business advisory and due diligence in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Australia, and has served a broad range of clients, including multinational blue-chip companies, government organisations, family-owned private businesses, entrepreneurial ventures and start-ups. He has extensive experience in the capital markets, including various types of main board and GEM board initial public offerings (such as real estate investment trusts and business trusts), reverse takeovers, spin-offs, major acquisitions and bond issuances.
Having been a Committee Member of ACCA Hong Kong since 2020, as well as Co-chair of the Professional Development Sub-committee and the Student Affairs Sub-committee of ACCA Hong Kong, Ambrose has also served on the ACCA Greater Bay Area Advisory Board since 2022. Outside of work, he is a mentor to University of Hong Kong Business School Master’s Programme students as well as Hong Kong Polytechnic University Undergraduate Programme students.

Brian Li was elected Vice Chair of ACCA Hong Kong. He is currently the Director of Strategic Revenue Development for Corporate and Institutional Banking at HSBC. He has been a Committee Member of ACCA Hong Kong since 2021, serving as the Co-chair of the Professional Development Sub-committee as well as the Co-chair of the Student Affairs Sub-committee from 2021 to 2026. Through these roles, Brian leads initiatives and engagement programmes that support ACCA’s thought leadership and the development of future members.
