What will happen to the ACCA Approved Employer (AE) programme?
The ACCA Approved Employer programme will continue to recognise organisations that invest in staff training and development. By meeting the highest standards, employers demonstrate their commitment to nurturing talent and driving professional excellence.
ACCA is retaining the streams and tiers of approval, whilst making the framework simpler and smarter. Our focus is on boosting efficiency and consistency across the programme by streamlining processes and harnessing technology to deliver an even better experience. Full details of such changes and efficiencies will be shared with you by December 2026.
The current approved employers can be assured that there will be no need to apply for accreditation and will be subject to renewal every 3 years and monitoring every 6 years in line with the current AE programme.
The redesigned ACCA Qualification is aligned with our expectations of the future. The introduction of the Essential Employability Modules as part of the future design aligns well with industry requirements to build skills using technology & AI.
