Confetti falling from the sky

When writing your entry, be willing to speak confidently and positively about what you’ve achieved - but make sure you back up every claim with evidence.

How you evidence your claims will depend on what you are looking to prove. You could reference survey results, statistics, third-party confirmation, client feedback or your own financial data. Judges like to see absolute figures so if you reference percentage increases in your financial data, include current and comparative figures. This helps them get a clear sense of the scale and impact of your achievements.

Don’t shy away from your mistakes – some of the best award applications have catalogued how a practice tried something that didn’t work. Cataloguing the journey and its impact on the business is proof of trying something new and that can make for a great entry.
