FRC research on the non-PIE Audit Market for audit partners

ACCA and the Financial Reporting Council are keen to hear from audit firms

An independent research programme is being carried out by Touchstone Renard (TR) on behalf of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), to enhance the FRC’s understanding of the supply side of the audit market and the drivers of firms’ entry, growth and exit in the market. TR is currently seeking firms’ views on the non-PIE audit market.

This is a timely opportunity for smaller firms in particular to have their say on issues that affect the future regulation and oversight of our profession, and we encourage you to participate.  The more firms take part, the more informative and reliable the results will be.

Your views will be completely confidential and TR will not reveal your identity, or that of your firm.  The main output will be a report, written to a publishable standard.

Firms can take part by completing a short (seven-minute) survey, taking part in a brief (30 minute) interview, or both.  In both cases the time commitment is finite and there will be no follow up unless this is agreed to in advance.

Access the survey.

Please note that only one response to the survey should be provided for each firm.

If you would like to take part in an interview please contact paustin@TouchstoneRenard.com to arrange a convenient time. TR is flexible as regards interviews outside the normal working hours of 9am to 5pm.

TR would like to express their thanks to ACCA and all involved with facilitating this research.
