I have worked in Financial Services for almost 12 years and been an ACCA member since 2012. I joined the network not long after becoming a member as I have a passion for being a change driver and I thought being a part of the Edinburgh Panel definitely gives me the perfect opportunity to make an impact within my ACCA.

It has been a great privilege being part of the network as it has given me exposure within the industry, I will encourage all members to get involved in whichever capacity they can…this is OUR ACCA.

I have over six years’ experience in delivering audits for a variety of financial services clients, gained with PwC both in Jamaica and in the UK and now specialise mainly in the audit of UK retail funds and corporate entities. I have also spent a year in Internal Audit for a well-known telecommunications giant in the Caribbean. I got involved with the panel particularly to brainstorm, share and collaborate ideas that would be beneficial both to ACCA and its members.

Chris is Senior Manager, Group Tax at Lloyds Banking Group.

Chris is a member of ACCA, and has served on the Edinburgh and East of Scotland network panel since 2016.  Chris is an Associate Director in the Corporate & Structured Finance team at Clydesdale Bank, providing debt solutions to support MBOs, acquisitions and refinances for private equity and non-private equity transactions across the East of Scotland market.  Chris previously worked in various roles within Financial Services, and trained in the Big 4 in Assurance and Transaction Advisory, working on buy-side and sell-side transactions.  Chris was the winner of the Business Insider Scotland Young Accountant of the Year 2016, held as part of Business Insider Accountancy & Finance Awards.  Chris qualified with ACCA in 2014 and holds a BSc (Hons) 2:1 Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University.
