From November 2025, mandatory verification will be introduced for ACSPs and directors

From 18 November 2025, it is mandatory to carry out identity verification for all company directors and persons with significant control (PSCs) on incorporation and appointment. 

Existing directors and PSCs will have a year to comply with the new requirements, and will be required to have completed identity verification by autumn 2026.
