About our exams
All your exams are taken using a computer. You may hear them referred to as computer-based exams, or CBEs. Some exams are taken on-demand whilst others are taken during our four exam sessions.
When you can take exams
On-demand exams
On-demand CBEs allow for flexibility in your studies as you can sit them at any time of the year. Your results are displayed immediately at the end of the exam and uploaded to your account within 72 hours.
Session exams
These take place during our four exam sessions which take place in March, June, September and December. You’ll need to book your exam ahead of the deadline for each session and you’ll receive your results approximately 6 weeks after taking your exam

Where you take exams
Both our on-demand and session exams take place in exam centres. Working with our partners, you can expect a professional and consistent experience regardless of which centre you attend.
We operate an extensive global network of centres, in more than 100 countries around the world. However, If you are based in a country where we have no exam centre provision, you may be able to take your exam remotely. Whether you sit your exam at an exam centre, or remotely, your exam will follow the same format and use the same exam software.

How to book and take your exams
You can enter for ACCA exams as long as you have no other fees outstanding.
On-demand exams
You book our flexible on-demand exams directly with one of our exam centres.

Session exams
Are booked using our online booking platform – Exam Planner. You must book your exam ahead of the session’s booking deadline.
