Practising certificates and firm licences need to be renewed each year. You’ll receive a notification of when to renew on your MyACCA dashboard, usually in October.

Renewals can be completed online, via your MyACCA account.

We aim to process renewals within 30 days of submission however this can vary depending on the volume of renewals we receive. If you’ve submitted your renewal and are engaged in answering any queries we have for you, your practising certificate will remain valid until the renewal is processed.

UK and Ireland practising certificate renewals

If you currently hold an ACCA UK or Irish practising certificate, now’s the time to submit your 2027 renewal. You can do this online via your MyACCA account.

To help us get your renewal processed in time for 2027 please complete it before 11 December 2026.

If you’re no longer engaged in public practice, you’ll need to let us know. You can do this via the same renewal form - just select ‘no’ when asked if you want to renew.

Firm licensing renewals

If your firm holds an Exempted Regulated Activities (ERA) registration, ATOL reporting status, or a Firm’s auditing certificate, you’ll need to complete an annual renewal via the MyACCA portal.

Firm licensing renewals should be completed by the firm’s contact partner – they’ll receive notification of the renewal on their MyACCA dashboard. If you need to update your firm’s contact partner details, you can do this via MyACCA.
