I am more or less retired now having been made redundant three years ago  but as I was in receipt of my pension I have turned my attention to other activities. However, as ACCA qualified I worked in both the public and private sector as an accountant and internal auditor for over 40 years. Having attended Sussex Network events many years ago as a student member and latterly as a qualified accountant my main reason for joining the panel was to have some influence on the events provided for ACCA members in the local area.

I have been working in the Travel Sector for the last 11 years. During this time I have held a number of roles in Audit, Finance and recently  Risk Management. I have been attending ACCA events in my area for a number of years before deciding to be more involved with the Association. This has offered the opportunity to contribute to the planning of local events, grow my network of contacts  meeting people with different professional background and giving me a sense of satisfaction of being part of a professional body which I am very proud to be part of.
