I work in the  property development sector for property developers developing commercial  and residential property and let to a variety of commercial tenants. Being an advocate is a way of  promoting the accountancy profession,  ACCA and the qualification. Most organisations today are heavily reliant on financial data in order to survive and grow,  I regard the role of an advocate  as a person who can assist individuals and companies to become more financially aware and show them the merit of having  a suitably qualified finance person- ideally an ACCA- as someone they can rely to assist their organisation to prosper.

I work in venture capital investing and advisory business. I have been involved in working with entrepreneurs and business in its growth stages on both financial and strategic development. I got involved with the Panel as I believe it’s very useful for organisation to have qualified professionals to manage the business. Also, I feel I would be add value to the community if I could encourage young person to get professional training and have more clearer career planning. I met likely minded people at ACCA and the panel members are well connected to the various sectors and businesses.
