ACCA and the Enterprise Research Centre

The Enterprise Research Centre, jointly funded by the UK Government and the largest British banks, was launched in 2013 to provide trusted, robust and independent commentary on how SMEs grow and what support they need in order to do so.

At its heart is a partnership between Warwick Business School, Aston Business School, Imperial College Business School, Strathclyde Business School, Birmingham Business School and De Montfort University.

ACCA is proud to sit on the ERC’s Stakeholder Advisory Board, chaired by Lucy Armstrong, alongside some of the UK’s leading business associations. We are committed to sharing the ERC’s findings with business owners, accountants and policymakers.

Although the ERC’s work is meant primarily to inform UK enterprise policy, its findings are grounded in international evidence and presented in an accessible manner. You can read more about the issues the ERC is looking into and read their publications. For event more updates on the work of the Centre and its researchers, you can follow them on twitter (@ERC_UK).
