The ACCA Qualification

The ACCA Qualification gives you choice, flexibility and global career opportunities sought out by top employers. We're the only professional accountancy body to offer option papers, so you can choose what you study.

THE ACCA QUALIFICATION

Want a qualification to help you stand out from the crowd? you've come to the right place.  ACCA offers an unrivalled global network, is respected by employers around the world, and flexible study options put you in charge of your studies and career.

How the ACCA qualification works

The ACCA Qualification is made up of three components: exams, experience, and ethics and you must complete all three of these components before you can complete your ACCA qualification and become an ACCA member.

You can also gain valuable recognition for exams passed on your way to ACCA membership, as you will be awarded the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business on completion of the required exams.

For full details of the qualification structure, dates and fees, and when and how to sit exams, please see the ACCA Qualification overview.

Exemptions

ACCA offers exemptions to students who have studied relevant accountancy qualifications prior to starting ACCA’s accountancy qualifications. This means that you may not have to take all of the exams in the ACCA Qualification or at the foundation level and you can start your studies at the right level for you.

ACCA has awarded exemption accreditation for three undergraduate programmes of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill campus.  For more information on this and other exemptions available in the Caribbean visit our Exemptions database
