ACCA Appoints Sunny Shao as New Director for China

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) today announced the appointment of Sunny Shao, currently Head of North China & Regional Employer Relationships Lead, as the new Director for China, effective 1 December 2025. She will succeed Ada Leung, who will retire at the end of the year after an exceptional 27-year tenure with ACCA.
Sunny Shao brings extensive expertise across employer engagement, member relations and strategic partnerships within China, having held various leadership roles at ACCA since 2000. Based in Beijing, Sunny possesses deep local market insight and significant experience building partnerships with government, regulators and industry sectors to advance the development of the accountancy profession in China.
This announcement from ACCA also honours Ada Leung's profound impact on ACCA’s growth and transformation in China. Ada leaves a strong legacy of impactful leadership and strategic partnerships that have firmly established ACCA’s presence and paved the way for future success. Ada will remain in her role until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition.

ACCA（特許公認會計師公會）今日宣布，現任華北區及中國僱主關係總監的邵楠女士將於2025年12月1日起正式出任ACCA中國總監一職，接替將於年底退休、在ACCA服務長達27年的梁淑屏女士。
邵楠女士自2000年加入ACCA，曾擔任多個領導職位，累積豐富的企業合作、會員聯繫及戰略夥伴關係經驗。她常駐北京，對中國市場具深厚認識，並積極推動與政府、監管機構及跨行業的戰略合作，促進中國會計專業的可持續發展。
ACCA亦藉此表彰梁淑屏女士多年來對ACCA中國發展和轉型所作出的貢獻。梁女士憑藉出色的領導力和戰略眼光，為ACCA在中國奠定了堅實的基礎，並為未來的可持續發展開創道路。梁女士將留任至年底，以確保職務的順利交接。
