The ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee (MAC) was established in 1999 to advise on strategic matters related to the accounting and finance profession.
The role of the Committee is to advise the Malaysia Country Head and Malaysia executive team on strategic matters relating to ACCA’s affairs in Malaysia, which include:
- strategic developments in the profession and implications to ACCA;
- current and future issues affecting members, students and affiliates in Malaysia;
- the right service proposition for the members;
- raising ACCA’s profile and enhancing its reputation in Malaysia;
- new ideas and topics which may be addressed through courses, publications and other services; and
- technical issues and consultative document.
