The ACCA Malaysia Digital and Technology Taskforce was established as a sub-committee under the ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee (MAC) to educate and support ACCA members in navigating digital disruption, while strengthening their readiness for an increasingly technology-driven business environment. As digital transformation continues to reshape the profession, the Taskforce aims to enhance members’ digital capabilities, promote ethical awareness, and encourage proactive adaptation to evolving technological developments. The objectives of the Taskforce include:

  • Enhancing digital literacy by equipping members with the skills and capabilities to adapt to an evolving, technology-driven environment, while fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing
  • Addressing ethical considerations by promoting awareness and understanding of the responsible use of emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and data governance
  • Shaping a future-fit profession by supporting members to stay ahead through monitoring technological advancements and understanding their impact on the accounting landscape
