For a limited time only ACCA members can demonstrate their audit experience and gain a qualification from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) with a specially designed fast track route. It just takes one exam.

What is CIA?

The Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) designation is provided by our internationally respected learning partners, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). 

When is it available?

ACCA members can apply from 4 June until 31 August. You then need to pass just one exam, the CIA Challenge Exam, which is taken in October.

Who is eligible for this offer?

Any current ACCA member in good standing can apply. The IIA and ACCA will communicate directly to verify membership standing. This offer is especially relevant to members working in internal audit or interested in exploring the profession.

Key dates for your diary

Once a member has been accepted they’ll be prompted to:

  • register to take the exam by 30 September
  • book their exam session by 15 October
  • take their exam from 1 - 31 October (China only: 27-31 October)
