Business resilience focuses mainly on managing the consequences of crisis events and restoring normality within a set timescale, or indeed, defining a new normality. As we start to recover from Covid-19, how can we improve business resilience?

Gillies Crichton, AGS Airports Limited

Having spent 17 years within the BAA Airport Fire & Rescue Service, with 10 years as a senior officer, Gillies is extremely experienced in dealing with all types of emergency, contingency & business recovery situations.

As a Senior Manager within Glasgow Airport, and over 32 years in the aviation industry, he is well experienced in all aspects of business including customer experience and leadership.

He currently heads up an Assurance Team covering all aspects of Risk, Business Continuity, Internal Audit, Health, Safety, Environment & Fire Safety for AGS Airports Limited, retaining his previous responsibilities for Glasgow Airport.

A founding Director of the International Aviation Fire Protection Association (IAFPA) in 1999 and currently vice chair, he was made a Fellow of IAFPA in 2012.
