  • Lead the technical & compliance side of the function whilst dealing with team building & developing careers.
  • Ensure all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management / governance and appropriate risk management and assurance processes are in place.
  • Discuss strategy and challenges of operational finance.
  • Deliver difficult messages & cope with not always being popular!
  • Manage the E.O. (who are known to have differing levels of financial literacy!)
  • Use techniques to work with the Chair and Non-Executive Directors.
  • Handle the wellbeing of yourself & your team.
  • Overall, the day will provide practical guidance on how to thrive in an D. role as well as provide excellent networking & peer learning opportunities.
