Overview

This certificate is one of three that are an integral part of the UAE Fellowship Programme. If you are studying this material for a different purpose or outside the UAE, please see our global edition of the Cert IA.

Cert IA is structured in an accessible and user-friendly way that underlines key information and provides useful summaries. It provides topic-by-topic exploration of specific ISAs. There are many exercises, multiple-choice questions and sample answers for you to test your knowledge with as you progress through the course.

The course is updated regularly to make sure it stays relevant, and includes a topic by topic explanation of the specific ISAs.

Cert IA has been prepared for:

qualified accountants and auditors to ensure they are up to date with all current developments issues by IAASB
accounts who qualified before the introduction of the clarified ISAs or who have been away from audit practice and want to ensure that their knowledge is up to date
those undertaking the UAE Fellowship Programme.

An educational or vocational background in audit is recommended before commencing the Cert IA.

This certificate offers an introduction to the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), covering the principles and application of ISAs through online tuition and objective assessment. Covering the same learning topics as the ACCA certificate the assessment and awarding criteria have been adapated for the UAE Fellowship Programme

the course is designed for your participation in the UAE Fellowship Programme
on completion of the assessment with a pass of at least 60% a letter of credit for the UAE Fellowship will be awarded together with your certificate
the 2 hour assessment consists of 70 questions undrtaken online at a local assessment centre (to be arranged after registration)
by purchasing this version of CertIA you have pre-purchased unlimited assessment attempts. However, a local fee (currently AED 400) will be payable to access the assessment centre.
your online invigilated assessment will be conducted in the UAE under the supervision of the British Council
