Wilson Cheng is the tax leader of Hong Kong and Macau in EY, as well as the Greater China tax controversy co-leader and Hong Kong tax controversy leader, with 20 years of Hong Kong corporate tax and transaction tax experience. He provides tax advisory and compliance services to conglomerates, listed companies as well as US and European-based multinational corporations.
 

Jasmine Tian, director, International Tax and Transaction Services, EY

Jasmine Tian is familiar with both China and Hong Kong SAR tax regimes and business environments and provides tax advisory services to MNCs investing into China and Hong Kong SAR in relation to their cross border transactions. She has rich experience in advising foreign investors interested in the region’s various sectors on market entry, operations model review, holding structure design, corporate and personal tax planning, and etc.


Gigi Lam, director, Deloitte China

Gigi Lam is a director of the National Technical Department of Deloitte China. In her current role, she gives advice to clients on applications of IFRS and HKFRS standards and provides accounting technical support to clients' transactions and IPOs. She also spent eight years in audit practice in Hong Kong, where she served listed and multinational clients from a variety of sectors including retail, manufacturing, real estate and transportation. Gigi is a member of the HKICPA.


Ambrose Ting, FCCA, partner, PwC

Ambrose Ting is an assurance partner of PwC, with experience in auditing in China mainland, Hong Kong, and Australia. For the capital market, he has extensive experience in various types of main board/ GEM board initial public offerings (including real estate investment trust, business trust, etc), reverse takeovers, spin-offs, major acquisitions and bond issues.

Ambrose is a fellow member of ACCA and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently a committee member of ACCA Hong Kong, and co-chairman of ACCA Hong Kong Professional Development Sub-committee and Student Affairs Sub-committee.
 

Ken Law, partner, PwC

Ken Law is a partner of PwC’s assurance practice and has more than 15 years’ experience in delivering services to organisations in the public sector including public companies, stated owned enterprises and multinational companies. He also has extensive experience in capital market transactions such as IPO, right issues, bond offerings, mergers, acquisitions and disposals. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
 

Terry Chen, actuarial, PwC

Terry Chen is a senior manager at PwC Hong Kong’s Actuarial Services team with 10 years of experience in life insurance. Terry leads the Long Service Pay actuarial valuation workstream within PwC including the development of valuation models and risk assessment models, and has helped multiple internal and external clients on technical interpretations as well as impact assessments. His relevant experience includes Lump Sum Grant and Key Man Risk assessments, audit, capital reporting, strategy consulting, and process modernisation.
 

Tony Pang, director, Professional Practice, KPMG

Tony Pang specialises in supporting the firm and its clients with a wide range of IFRS/HKFRS financial reporting issues. Before joining the Department of Professional Practice, he spent six years in audit practice in Hong Kong serving listed and multinational clients in a wide range of industries, including property development, retail, manufacturing and trading.
 

Vivien Chan, director, valuation, KPMG

Vivien Chan has over 15 years of experience in business valuation and financial modelling. She specializes in providing valuation and strategic assistance to companies in various industries. Her areas of emphasis are the valuation of private businesses and intangible assets as well as impairment testing. Prior joining the valuation practice, Vivien worked in the transaction service practices and she has been involved in due diligence assignments in China, working on transactions in a wide range of sectors including financial services, retail, food and beverage and consumer markets.
