Rachael’s upcoming projects includes one on the Risk Cultures in Healthcare, which includes explores the evolving role of audit committees. The report will be launched on December 16th and is complemented by related episodes in the Risk Culture podcast series. These discussions examine risk governance for fraud and cybersecurity and it's interesting how industries can learn from each other, not least from the internal audit perspective and how the three lines evolve to better manage emerging risks.

Her main focus in 2025 will be on 'Combating Fraud'. This overarching campaign will include a survey, report and events, and will be launched a month before the International Fraud Awareness Week in early November 2025. Partners for this include IIA, as well as the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, so it will be interesting to see how respective members respond in the survey and how we analyse that. After that, Rachael will be deep into her ongoing cyber risk management thought leadership, working with ISC2 on another survey and report.

See her upcoming podcasts for more and feel free to contact her at rachael.johnson@accaglobal.com if you have any questions or want to get involved.
