This one hour webinar reminds us of the fundamentals of acquisition accounting under IFRS working through some of the associated complexities. What is control? Is it a business? What about control achieved in stages? These are a few of the issues we will explore.

Helen Kerrigan, Future Finance Training

Helen qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2001, and worked for the company in the UK and internationally, before joining its learning and development team and discovering a love of training.

She has since worked with Kaplan Financial and as a freelance training consultant, designing and delivering course materials in the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa for a number of professional bodies; and providing 'finance for non-financial managers' training to clients in other sectors such as banking. 

She set up her own training company - Future Finance Training - after developing her ideas on how best to bring technical topics to life.
