Course overview
The Oxford Brookes Global MBA begins with an induction programme to support your transition back to studying and to equip you with the key study skills required to succeed.
The Transformative Learning Journey runs through your entire MBA, from induction to completing your MBA Project. In your first teaching session for the module, you will develop personal action plans for your study and future development needs. You will regularly review and reflect on your MBA learning and the impact it has in your workplace.
You will study 7 compulsory modules. Details of the modules can be found here.
You then choose one elective modules which can enable you to follow a specialist pathway through the MBA. Pathways available are:
- MBA with Analytics
- MBA with Advanced Accounting and Finance
- MBA with Enterprise
For the final stage of your programme you choose an MBA project. This can be a dissertation, an individual consultancy project, a group consultancy project or a business start-up plan.* This final project connects the knowledge and expertise you have gained throughout the programme and gives you the opportunity to pursue an area of interest in depth.
*To choose the business start-up plan you will need to have completed the elective Planning for New Business Ventures.
