You will learn to:
- understand the Power BI ecosystem (including Desktop, Service, Mobile) and it's place in Microsoft Fabric and in the broader Microsoft data platform
- extract, transform and load data using Power Query from a range of sources
- design efficient data models
- write analytical expressions in DAX, including aggregations, filter functions, time-intelligence calculations, variables, evaluation contexts, and advanced patterns
- create standard and custom visualisations, including custom themes, bookmarks, field parameters, tooltips, and interactive controls
- build automated KPIs, variance analyses, and management-level dashboards
- utilise advanced reporting techniques, such as what-if analysis, scenario modelling, drill-through, conditional formatting, decomposition trees, and report automation
- publish, secure, and share reports using Power BI Service, including apps, permissions, refresh schedules, and collaboration featuress.
