Crash course in AI

This course is designed to be an accessible introduction to Generative AI for professionals in fields such as audit, tax, advisory, finance and business operations.  The sessions demystify the technology, explain how it works and demonstrates practical applications that can immediately enhance productivity and decision-making.  You will learn how to use leading AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and Claude), understand the fundamentals of prompt engineering and explore real-world use cases relevant to your role.

The content begins with the fundamentals of Generative AI, including how large language models (LLMs) work and how they differ from traditional automation. You will gain an insight into leading AI tools, learning how to generate text, analyse data and automate routine tasks. By the end, you will recognise opportunities and risks associated with AI adoption and a clear understanding of how to apply AI in your daily work.
