HKFRS 15 ‘Revenue from Contracts with Customers’ establishes principles for reporting useful information to users of financial statements about the nature, amount, timing and uncertainty of revenue from an entity’s contracts with customers. Despite having been in effect for several years, practical application challenges persist due to the diversity of contract terms and real-world business scenarios. This 1-hour webinar offers a practical overview of common pitfalls in applying HKFRS 15, along with targeted insights into specific guidance within the standard, helping professionals enhance compliance and reporting accuracy.

Gigi Lam, Partner, Deloitte China

Gigi Lam is a partner of the National Technical Department of Deloitte China. In her current role, she gives advice to clients on applications of IFRS/HKFRS Accounting standards and provides accounting technical support to clients' transactions and IPOs. Additionally, she is a frequent speaker at IFRS/HKFRS Accounting Standards training sessions, both internally for audit practitioners and externally to clients or accountancy bodies. She had also spent several years in audit practice in Hong Kong, where she served listed and multinational clients from a variety of sectors including retail, manufacturing, real estate and transportation. Gigi is a member of the HKICPA.

  • The series is under ACCA’s Subsidy CPD Scheme.
