Reporting what matters: IFRS Climate Risk in the Financials and TNFD Overview

Shelley Ip, Director, Corporate Reporting Services, PwC

Shelley Ip is a Director in PwC’s Global Corporate Reporting Services Group, based in Hong Kong, specialising in IFRS/HKFRS, including consolidation, business combinations, revenue recognition, income taxes, share-based payments and employee benefits.

With over 17 years in accounting consulting and prior auditing experience across commercial and industrial sectors, Shelley advises on technical accounting issues in capital markets transactions and provides ongoing support to listed issuers and other financial statement preparers across various industries, focussing on consumer markets, industrial products, technology and real estate.

Shelly is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong.

Daisy Chee, Associate Director, Sustainability Consulting, PwC

Daisy Chee is a seasoned sustainability practitioner with approximately 15 years of experience across consulting, in-house corporate roles, and non-profit organisations. Currently at PwC, she provides sustainability advisory services focused on ESG reporting, climate change and environmental matters for clients.

Throughout her career, Daisy has developed sustainability reports and enhanced ESG practices for publicly listed companies. She has helped companies set climate-related targets, develop low-carbon transition plans and perform scenario analysis. She has also supported companies in adopting the TNFD framework, including the identification of nature-related issues and disclosures in line with TNFD recommendations. Prior to joining PwC, she served on in-house sustainability teams across organisations in the energy and forestry sectors.

Daisy is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) and has credentials in sustainability and climate risk, sustainable finance and data science. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Philosophy in Genetics from The University of Hong Kong.
