Navigating EQAs for Internal Audit

While the requirements to complete an External Quality Assessment (EQA) at least once every five years has not changed in the new Global Internal Audit Standards, these can present challenges. Small internal audit functions have always struggled with resourcing these, however with the introduction of the Essential Conditions in Domain III, new challenges now exist particularly for those with a mixed resource model using multi-client providers. 

This session will explain those challenges and offer options as to how internal audit functions and multi-client providers can tackle these.
